 Saturday. December 27. Only a few days left in this year. I could reflect on what I have accomplished this year. I turned 69 on my belly button birthday and 28 years on my sobriety birthday. Earlier in the year, we dissolved a non-profit society we had been involved with since 2012, but we still donated a few blankets and scarves to transition houses for women so we are still able to help out when we can. In fact, this year, I was able to make a blanket from start to finish. Usually, I knit the squares and Nancy crochets borders around each square and then crochets those together so it becomes a collaboration. This year, because of health problems, Nancy was not able to crochet so I learned to sew the squares together. I made 2 blankets that way. Other than that, it's just been another year of contented sobriety.
